This quality property is situated in the national park area in the scenic Burga Valley,
enjoying breathtaking views of Cardo-Boix mountain range. A quiet location
but easily accessible to the traditional Catalan village of Rasquera ( 9 mins) the river Ebro and river side village of Benifallet ( 15 mins) Perello beaches with it's fine sand crystal clear waters (20mins) train station and motorway junction (20mins) 45 mins from Reus airport .
The house is 500 meters from a tarmac road along a well maintained rural track.
The house has been designed and restored to an exceptionally high quality, retaining it's traditional character yet incorporating a modern open plan aspect with large double glazed doors allowing light and views of the garden from all rooms. The materials used are high quality with bespoke windows, doors, kitchen units and flooring, built by local artisan carpenter and stone mason renowned for their building skills.
At the entrance is a gentle sloping rock bed draining water into the traditional original dome roof stone cisterna. To the left there is a car port shaded by wisteria plants, proceeding towards the house is a stone built room used as 4th bedroom / studio, it has a glass fronted wall shaded by olive tree and shrubs with it's own secluded patio and a traditional stone bread oven built during the civil war.
A gravel path leads through landscape gardens to patios and house.
The House is 220m2 on two floors.
The entrance hall is a large room fitted with sliding glass /mosquito netting doors and folding wood doors. The room has been restored keeping the original stairs and the decorative animal feeding trough.
The kitchen is sectioned into a modern kitchen leading to a pantry, utility and a outside door. The left side of the area has a cooker, two gas hobs, a Rayburn wood burning stove used for cooking and supplying the central heating. The stone sink has a water filter tap.
Doors lead into a large dining room and living room with arched windows, and a stone built fire place. Large exterior doors open onto a patio with outside kitchen with a gas hob and BBQ and outside dining area,. At the far end of the room is another staircase.
This floor has three double rooms which are light airy and fitted with wooden shutters., There is one bathroom one on-suite shower room,and ample fitted storage area .All the bedrooms have excellent views . The main bedroom opens out into a large patio with stunning views of the sunset.

The land is well maintained planted with 180 olive trees, there are also fig, lemon, almond, trees for domestic crop.
The garden is well established with hedges, shrubs and aromatics plants watered by irrigation systems. The patios are designed as outdoor rooms with all areas paved using local handmade terracotta tiles linked by paved and gravel paths. There is a shaded vegetable growing area with good soil.
The swimming pool has lights for night swimming and the surrounding patio is well shaded for day use.
